PE 1000 / PE-UHMW sheets - UV Resistant
Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW-PE) as a standard is not known to be UV resistant. Once exposed to sunshine and other UV rays it can decay relatively rapidly. However, we offer a UHMW product that is resistant to UV rays and includes additives that allow UHMW to survive under direct sunlight or other sources of UV radiation.
The UV-resistant UHMW is available and can be made in custom colors, subject to minimum volume orders.
The UV-resistant UHMW-PE sheets of this type are distinguished by their High abrasion and wear resistance and low coefficient of friction. This special grade of Polyethylene 1000 / UHMW-PE sheets is UV-resistant and Self-lubricating.
