Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) is a resin based product having molecular weight greater than 4million gm. /mol. It is important that we do not confuse UHMWPE with High-Density Polymer (HDPE) because HDPE does not exhibit superior wear characteristics as UHMWPE due to its lower molecular weight. As the molecular weight of polyethylene increases, its abrasion resistance and non-stick characteristics are enhanced. These liners are extensively used all over the world as ideal flow promotion liners.

• Excellent resistance to stress and high resistant to cracking (i.e. it has high tensile and compressive strength)
• High operational temperatures with a melting point of 160°C
• Excellent dielectric properties
• It is highly resistant to most alkalis and acid, organic solvents, degreasing agents and electrolytic attack
• Non-staining

Applications
