UHMWPE can be machined into vitually anything from gears, bearings to large sprockets. This PE1000 grade plastic can even outperform steel in sliding applications because of its low coefficient of friction.

Wear Resistance UHMWPE Sheet, molecular weight 9.2 million g/mol, offers a higher wear resistance and impact strength compared to PE300 and PE500. It is extremely strong with excellent wear resistance due to a very low coefficient of friction. It also has excellent chemical resistance and very low moisture absorption. Polyethylene PE1000 sheet - UHMW is food grade approved.
