Boron-containing polyethylene radiation-resistant shielding material for neutron shielding laboratories is a new type of composite material that uses polyethylene 

as a matrix and disperses boron carbide by high-speed stirring, kneading, plasticizing, and laminating.


Boron can block neutron radiation, and hydrogen can attenuate neutrons, helping boron to easily absorb thermal neutrons.


Lightweight: Compared with traditional heavy shielding materials, boron-containing polyethylene sheets have the characteristics of lightweight, 

which can reduce the weight and volume of equipment and facilitate transportation and installation.


The advantage of radiation-resistant boron-containing polyethylene shielding material is that it contains a high level of hydrogen, which has a strong attenuation effect 

on fast neutrons, while boron has a stronger absorption of thermal neutrons and lead, and its protective effect on gamma rays is particularly obvious, so lead-boron 

polyethylene sheets have a certain protective effect on neutrons, thermal neutrons, and gamma rays.
